Russ has been painting his whole life! He has natural talent but crafted his skills starting in architecture school where he learned the fundementals of compostion, perspective, color and light. 

He mostly creates landscapes that pack a lot of punch! Some are painterly in style while some are abstract. They depict intreagueing, broad and deep vistas with subltle details that are magical and delightful. 

Over the years he has shown his work at many establishments in DC and Baltimore. He is currently showing five paintings in National Harbor at the locals-only gallery, Arts'tination. Check it out.  

You may purchase already completed paintings or Russ can paint a new one for you, perhaps with different hues or in a different size. For a fee, he will come to your house for a Custom Color Consultation (CCC). He can compose a painting that complements your wall paint, furniture and other decor...for any room in your home.
